The kitchen spices that let me know
Of
The delicious smells beginning to flow
The captivating steam
Dares me to look
At the magnificent creation
Made by the cook
Steamed Vegetables
With
Tender meat
Makes my mouth water
And
Shake at the feet
I stand in awe
And reach for a fork
It won’t be long
Until I have the juicy pork
The plates are out,
Tables set
There is nothing like
Good food
And this
I will
